    A gold locket containing a photograph of Prince Albert (1819-61), on the left, and a lock of hair on the right. The hair sits on a fabric mount. Both are set beneath glass. A design is carved on the front of the locket featuring the initial 'A' beneath a crown.

    The locket contains an inscription reading 'Dec. 14/1861'.
