Photograph of a full length portrait of Princess Louise, later Duchess of Argyll (1848-1939), standing, facing slightly to the left. She gazes ahead, away from the camera. She rests her right hand on the back of a chair and carries a hat in the left hand. She wears a double breasted jacket and wide skirt. There is a curtain on the far left side of the photograph.
