An engraving generally described as based upon a lost initial design by Raphael for the fresco of 'The Battle of Constantine at the Milvian Bridge', painted by his workshop in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican (1520-24) after drawings by him. First state. Signed and dated on a stone at lower right. Annotated in ink at lower centre.
