A print after the fresco 'Joseph tells his brothers his dream' painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the seventh bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with Bible quote in Latin (Genesis 37) and attribution of the composition to Raphael. Signed with the engraver's monogram at lower right (see Nagler, IV, no.2360). Numbered on plate at lower right: 25. Trimmed within platemark. On watermarked paper. Faint squaring-up in red chalk. Not included in Ruland (1876).

This print is from a series which was first issued in 'Sacrae Historiae Acta a Raphael Urbin in Vaticanis xystis ad picturae miraculum expressa', Rome, 1649.
