Includes the Princess Royal making reference to a brochure sent by Fritz [Prince Frederick of Prussia] to Prince Albert regarding the 'Plan of Reform', written by M. ?Benchardi, a friend of Uncle Ernest [Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha]. She writes that Louise of Baden's [Grand Duchess of Baden] boy has been unwell, likely from gastric fever, but is not in any danger now. She also mentions that the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg is unwell and not expected to live long.
