The Princess Royal writes that she has been constantly looking forward to receiving her father's letters and expresses her regret at the news regarding Lady Sandwich and Mrs Paget. She also writes that she hopes Uncle Ernest [Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha] and Uncle Leopold [Leopold I of Belgium] will be able to attend the christening.
