Letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell returning letters (not present) regarding the proposal to send a representative of the Government to Rome. Prince Albert suggests that if a Protestant must be sent then Lord Heytesbury would be right for the role, and if he were unable then Lord Ponsonby would also do well.
