Prince Albert discusses the solution to the loss of Mr Anson. He states that Colonel Phipps will replace him and that Colonel Grey will take on the role of Private Secretary. He also discusses the possible candidates for the vacant equerryship including Colonel Romilly, Lord Charles FitzRoy and Colonel Bouverie. He also refers to 'the place of Axbearer' at Needwood and Mrs Anson taking on the lodge and grounds.
