Prince Albert discusses riding in Kensington Gardens, Lord Seymour and the obtaining of hurdles from St James's Park. He suggests that Lord Palmerston says a few words in the debate on communications with foreign governments and the disappointment they would feel at the overthrow of the exhibition. Prince Albert also asks after a letter Queen Victoria sent to Lord John Russell regarding Lord Palmerston and the Holstein protocol.
