Prince Albert refers to Lord Mont Eagle's [Monteagle's] plan in relation to submitting an account to Parliament and asks after the accounts of the past year. He also discusses the New Forest and a statement from Lord Seymour outlining the forests and parks with rangerships. He further includes reference to the office of Poet Laureate being vacant, that they had a pleasant stay at Holyrood and that Lord Palmerston is being very attentive to Queen Victoria.
