Prince Albert refers to the plot of Bregenz and states that he is glad it had not gone as far as was reported in Paris. He mentions Prussia's supposed encouragement of war and refers to Colonel Hodges' accounts. Prince Albert discusses the people of Schleswig-Holstein's struggle for what they believe are their rights and also makes reference to Austria and Denmark's positions.
