Letter from Hon. Edward Ersine, the British Chargé d'Affaires in Stockholm, to Dr. Ernst Becker reporting that he has received payment for the photographer Hansen, and also a diamond ring, together with news that a parcel is arriving from England.

Erskine writes that he has received a payment which he assumes is to cover the charges of the photographer Hansen, whom he has duly paid. But he has also received a box containing a diamond ring, and has been informed by the British Minister to Prussia that a parcel addressed to him from Sir Charles Phipps is on its way; he is puzzled as to what he is to do with these. He encloses Hansen's receipt (see VIC/ADDA10/85/539).
