Letter from Lord Derby to Queen Victoria listing the counties and boroughs in which the Government had gained seats and reporting that he believes they will gain no less than 25 seats. Plus a number of independent Liberals had announced their support for the Government. He also reports of losses in Berkshire, S. Lincolnshire, Berwickshire and the Borough of Limerick. Derby also mentions the Prince of Wales departure for Gibraltar and the Archdeacon of Llandaff's elevation to the See of Bangor.
